Christian Schwarz: Mycology into the 21st Century

Here is a very interesting talk about what  the Fungus Federation of Santa Cruz is trying to document all the mushrooms growing in the county. There is lot more information in the talk that can pertain to other parts of the country and some fascinating data. It is almost an hour and a half long but if you want to know more about fungi and fungi projects that need to be done: Watch it! It might open your eyes.

All-Sound Foray Announcement

The Kitsap Peninsula Mycology Society cordially invites you to an All-Sound Foray on Saturday November 2nd, 9:30 AM – 5 PM, northwest of Shelton in the south Olympic National Forest.
We will be socializing with other clubs from around the Sound, and hunting ‘shrooms! This will be great opportunity to both foray and mingle with other area mycotopiates.

SCMS April Meeting and Foray News

Just a reminder about our next meeting next Wednesday. It is our Annual SCMS Plant Sale meeting, a fund raiser for the club. Please bring your donated plants to this meeting, after the snack break Anna will start the plant sale auction.
